- Take out all contents: Chair, Sauna cover, Box containing the Double Radiator, and tent sticks – these are usually taped to the Radiator box.
- Open up the Tent and set it upright.
- Insert the chair inside the tent.
- Insert the Radiator unit inside the tent, with the radiators facing the chair.
- Pull the cord underneath the zipper, so it can be plugged into an outlet.
- Using the zipper of the tent (with the cord underneath the zipper), zip up the tent as you would a jacket.
- Place the sticks inside the tent to hold the tent upright: The sticks attach to the radiator. Put each of the two equal shaped double-ended sticks on each side of the radiator on top of the prongs. Then place the solid black stick on top of the 1st stick to the left of the left radiator, as you face the sauna. Next, place the stick with the metal opening and black tip to the right of the right radiator.
- Place controller box on top of the stick that also holds up the sauna. Begin the process by placing the blue controller box holder on top of stick, where the stick is tucked inside the tent as in the 4th picture below.
- Plug the unit into any regular 110 volt outlet. You are almost ready to sweat now!
- Put a folded towel on top of the seat. Now drape a towel over the whole seat. Turn the dial to 15, 20 or 30 minutes.
- Flip the Switches (1 switch if an older model), the orange light will turn on, the far infrared light is now being generated, and you can hear the fan pushing the heat away from the semi conductor chip so that the chip continues to work. Remember it is the healing light (that you can’t see) that is being absorbed into the body.

If you get too hot, turn one of the radiators off. You will continue to absorb the healing light throughout the tent. You can also unzip the zipper 6-10 inches, and still experience its benefits.

- Grab some towels, 2-3 towels, and a hand towel to go around your neck; you can also get a washable cotton rug to place on your sauna floor to catch the sweat.
- Cover your sauna floor with a large towel or a washable cotton floor mat.
- Cover your chair with a Towel to gather all your sweat.
- Place the Gym towel around your neck for comfort and cleanliness. You can use this to wipe your face and collect sweat.
- Remember to drink 32 oz of pure, clean water before your sauna. - Take 2 Electroights before and After.
- Start your sauna with 12-15 mins and working your way up to 30. If you get too hot, unzip, and then start again.

Maintenance is easy. Simply use a slightly damp cloth to wipe the radiators and the interior of the sauna cover. The footpad between the two radiators can be removed and washed if necessary. But because the titanium oxide-coated ceramic semiconductors are naturally anti-bacterial, all you need to do is switch the sauna on for 2 ~ 5 minutes after use each time to help remove any unpleasant smells.

What is EMF?
EMF are Electromagnetic frequencies created anytime there is electric current. The Earth itself puts out an electromagnetic field which protects the Earth from cosmic radiation. All electronic devices have some level of EMF, the key is knowing what is harmful EMF and what is not. The key is the type, intensity, proximity and duration of exposure. EMF levels greatly decrease the more the distance away from the source. Harmful levels are generally only seen near power lines and industrial equipment which uses far more power than a home device.
The American Conference of Governmental Industrial Hygienists (ACGIH®) standards for occupational exposure to EMF is 10,000 mG(milligauss).
Ryno Sauna is one of the few companies which has done certified, independent testing on their sauna and publicly published the results. In the test, the maximum level of EMF recorded was 46.510 mG at 2 centimeters from the heater, which is much closer than your body is during use. Most saunas use large panels to generate the infrared. These panels have many wires of electric current and surround the body, thus creating a magnetic field around the body. In contrast, Ryno Saunas have 2 far infrared generators down below the feet. The electric current does not go near the body and thus EMF levels are low near the body and head when using.
Other infrared saunas may have lower EMF level readings at the source. The reason is that Ryno Saunas have one of the most powerful far infrared generators at 1500 watts.

Are there out-gasses or chemicals in the sauna?
Ryno saunas are built from quality materials such as inert nylon and silver. The saunas are packed in clear plastic bags for shipping and may have slight “new car” smell when first opened. We suggest running the sauna for 30 minutes when you first set it up.
This will disperse any remaining new car smell. After this, there is no off gassing or plastic odor. The materials in the sauna use materials with minimal off-gassing. Far below the levels of government standards and most carpets.
If you have a metal implant, can you still use an infrared sauna?
Metal reflects and does not absorb far infrared so most implants are not affected by infrared. Consult with your health professional if you are unsure or experience discomfort.
